About the role

Reporting to the CEO and part of the Club’s Leadership Team, the House Manager is responsible for all operational aspects of our Clubhouse. Owning the financial performance and successful delivery of our brasserie, bars, pizzeria, gaming lounges, conference room, functions and events is central to this role.

Working collaboratively with other Club Leaders and supported by a great crew of Duty Managers, Kitchen, Bar and Food and Beverage attendants, you will ensure all members and guests receive an exceptional hospitality experience across the Club.

Driving sales, managing budgets and margins, rostering, forecasting, reporting, mentoring mid-level managers and ensuring achievement of personal and team goals is all part of this varied and fast paced role. 

About you

The ideal candidate will be a hospitality all-rounder with previous venue senior management/operations experience who is passionate about creating positive customer experiences. You will have:

  • Exceptional knowledge of food, bar and gaming operations with evidence of the ability to drive revenue in a high performing environment 
  • Financial acumen with strong understanding and ability to manage labour costs, expenses, budgets and COGS
  • Strong computer skills and experience creating rosters
  • Experience managing and partnering a Head Chef to create and deliver attractive and varied menus to budget
  • Experience ensuring consistent delivery of the club’s high food and hygiene standards
  • A sound understanding to ensure compliance to NSW Liquor and Gaming laws
  • The ability to create and implement FOH training 
  • The desire to seek continuous improvement in your area of responsibility, focussing on maximising performance and increasing revenue and profit
  • Great communication skills (talker AND listener) and have a passion for leading teams, motivating others, and creating positive team culture
  • A current RSA and RCG
  • Available to work nights and weekends
