We are recruiting part-time Receptionists/ Bar Attendants and Housekeepers to work in our hostel, Freedom Hostels Rainbow Beach.

We’d love to find ‘Allrounder’ candidates who want to get involved in all aspects of the hostel including reception, bar and housekeeping, but we are open to splitting the roles up as necessary.

We have multiple roles available and can offer either permanent or casual positions.

• Permanent part-time position with a minimum of 25 hours per week and agreed additional overtime up to 38 hours OR casual

Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing duties on reception such as checking guests in and out and dealing with any guest issues/questions
• Taking enquiries and bookings over phone and email
• Serving drinks at the bar, handling payments and cleaning customer areas
• Cleaning rooms and bathrooms to a very high standard
• Maintaining a high level of customer service at all times

As the successful candidate you will have:

• Experience in a customer-facing role
• Reception/Housekeeping/Bartending experience will be highly regarded
• Excellent written and verbal English capabilities
• Flexibility with regards to working days/hours
• E-mail, Social Media and basic IT capabilities
• Must have the right to work in Australia
