  • Part Time – 5 days a week, 1:30pm to 6:30pm

ABOUT THE ROLE

The purpose of the Concierge Role is to act as the first point of contact for all external visitors and members to our Sydney Head Office.

 

The key responsibility is to ensure the front desk is always covered to welcome all visitors, directing them to the relevant areas, i.e., mailroom, Members Lounge, and conference areas, and assisting with basic enquiries. 

 

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Meet and greet all visitors
  • Direct visitors and guests
  • Record and issue security pass. Ensuring loaned access cards are returned.
  • Direct couriers/mail deliveries to Mail Room; and liaise with maintenance contractors as required in support of the Facilities team.
  • Provide information to visitors on events/seminars being held in the building, liaising as necessary with Events team, and Functions team regarding signage screen information.
  • Answer telephone enquiries
  • Acts as back up to Facilities team regarding garage access as required
  • Ensure the ground floor lobby area is clean/tidy and advise Facilities team of any issues

We are looking for a customer focused, team player who embraces change and takes pride in achieving excellence.. To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:  

  • Previous experience in reception, customer service in a professional environment
  • Flexibility to work additional hours to assist in covering leave of absence
  • Knowledge of standard computer systems (MS Outlook, MS Teams)
  • Knowledge of CBD facilities (i.e. location of taxi stands, train, bus and ferry)
  • Overview of events occurring in the building on any given day
