The Position

The City has an opportunity for an experienced and business focussed person to lead the recreation team in providing excellent services to the community. A key part of the role is to identify and assess the service and facility needs of the community, evaluate strategies for new programs and services and make recommendations to Council. This is a diverse position which will provide you with an opportunity to make a significant impact within the Cockburn community through strong leadership as the City strives towards its vision of Cockburn, the best place to be.

This is a key position and part of the City’s Senior Leadership Team, so we are seeking highly motivated and experienced candidates that are going to help shape and influence the future of the City’s recreational strategies and spaces, leading to a healthier, more active and more engaged Cockburn community. 

In leading multiple high performing teams, we are seeking someone with strong coaching, motivating and empowering skills, who can deliver on purpose and achieve results through the team.
