Haysung Korean BBQ restaurant is looking for energetic and qualified chef in Springvale. Established in 2016, we have provided full dining service to customers with unique atmosphere and ambience which is dedication to our Korean BBQ heritage. Our restaurant has great ratings from customers for our unique Korean food dishes and dining service.We are looking for an experienced and passionate chef who can devote their skills and knowledge to meet customer’s expectations as well as company’s food standard
Qualifications & experience
- At least 2 years of experience working in commercial kitchen, preferred in Korean cuisine
- Relevant diploma or above qualifications
- Experience handing all food ingredient including meats, vegetables
- Good communication skills working in team environment
- Food costing skills
- Labour costing skill
- Exceptional cooking skill with all methods including work
- Ability to maintain stocktaking into par level
Tasks & responsibilities
- Menu planning and development capacity with head chef
- Prepare all dishes according to the company’s standard recipes
- Ability to monitor food qualities from preparation to presentation
- Participate in service in busy paced environment
- Monitor staff members to meet standards
- Ensure compliance with all government food legislation
