Front Office Receptionist / All-Rounder

The Julie-Anna Inn, Motel, and Restaurant have a unique opening and exciting opportunity for a Front Office Receptionist /All Rounder who is passionate about providing exceptional customer service.

Are you a Front Office/Admin/Hospitality Superstar looking for your next opportunity?

This role will involve Front Office Reception and some Restaurant shifts when required. Therefore, the ability and flexibility to work various rostered shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends are a must.


Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Providing exceptional customer service to all guests 

• Recognising and welcoming regular guests and building rapport

• Responding to guest requests in a timely manner

• Checking guests in and out

• Maintaining guest accounts, accuracy is a must

• Responding to accommodation and event enquiries

• Taking, making, and processing reservations – Phone, email, walk-ins

• Professional phone manner and exceptional customer service skills, a skilled problem solver who is solution-focused is a must

• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and time management skills

• A passion for creating memorable experiences and guest interactions, as the first point of contact for our business, ensuring superior service for all guests

• Competent computer skills are essential – fluent in Microsoft Excel, Word Outlook, and the ability to learn our property management system

• Excellent grooming and presentation standards

• The successful applicant must be self-motivated 

• Previous experience in a fast-paced office/admin roll or hospitality environment will be advantageous

• A broad and sound knowledge of Bendigo and all it has to offer visitors for dining, shopping, wineries, attractions, and more.


The position is casual with the prospect of part-time for the right candidate. Offering 15-25 hours across a 7-day roster to begin with. Shifts will vary between 7:00 am and 8:00 pm, including some weekend shifts. No late night or overnight shifts are required.
