What You Will Be Doing 
Reporting to the Portfolio Senior Financial Controller, you will be working in a unique portfolio overseeing 5 key Accor properties in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne including Pullman Sydney Hyde Park, Novotel Sydney Central, Novotel Sydney Parramatta and dual complexes Pullman Mercure Melbourne Albert Park and Pullman Mercure Brisbane King George Square.

As the 2IC in the Finance team, you will be:

  • Developing and monitoring all financial systems with a view to improve and streamline procedures.
  • Analysing results and working with Department Managers to improve financial performance
  • Assisting in the daily management of our team of 8 Finance professionals across Payroll, AP and AR.
  • Contributing to a supportive & experienced team, driving outcomes and excellence within your team

Your Skills & Experience
To ensure your success and continued growth in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Previous experience as an Assistant Financial Controller or similar position, ideally within Hospitality
  • Proven ability to train and develop team members
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively time manage large volume work load, meeting deadlines and thriving under pressure
  • Excel king or queen
  • Strong communication skills & flexibility in your approach to resolving issues  
  • CPA or CA qualified or be working towards your accreditation
