Your new company
An established and prominent private school in the Eastern Suburbs has an exciting and challenging opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to support the Head of School. Committed to both its students and their parents, this school is passionate about education and delivering excellent customer service.

Your new role
In this position you will be responsible for providing administrative support and being the gatekeeper for the Head of School. Your duties will include organising appointments with multiple stakeholders around various timetables and availabilities, extensive diary management, formatting reports including proofreading, producing parent correspondence and managing multiple projects. You will also be responsible for organising meetings, taking minutes and assisting with running events. This role will be high pressured and fast paced in a complex environment. You will regularly liaise with parents, manage or defuse any difficult situations including finding solutions to any problems as they arise and working collaboratively with the Head of School to support them effectively.

What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will have had previous experience as an Executive Assistant, and it would be highly regarded if you have previously worked at a Private School. You will need to have a high level of attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills. You would need to possess advanced computer skills and be a fast typist. This position would suit a dynamic people person, who is highly organised and is able to anticipate their Executives’ needs before they arise. You will be pro-active and have foresight to plan ahead and manage work load effectively to ensure efficient operations of the School.
