The Position

We are currently seeking a highly organised and efficient Executive Assistant to support our Managing Director and CFO.

Our business is all about our people, so our expectations are that you build relationships easily, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and anticipate issues before they arise. You will have a high level of personal maturity and judgement, be collaborative in your approach and have absolute discretion when dealing with sensitive matters.

Your day may include, but will not be limited to:

  • Complex and fluid calendar management
  • Booking domestic & international travel and preparing itineraries
  • Monitoring email correspondence, fielding inquires and requests, and escalating urgent matters
  • Producing correspondence, memos and reports both of a general and confidential nature on behalf of the MD and CFO
  • Work closely with the Communications Manager to prepare speeches, papers, presentations and press relations on behalf of the MD
  • All aspects of organisation for Compass hosted events on behalf of MD in office, client sites or external venues
  • Preparing meeting agendas, processing travel & expense claims, ordering equipment

The Person

  • A ‘forward thinking’ individual with minimum 5 years’ experience within a similar role
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholder’s conflicting agendas
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage correspondence on behalf of the MD and ED
  • Organisational skills with efficient time management and task prioritisation.
  • As well as being highly confidential, we require someone who utilises discretion, tact and diplomacy with ease regarding sensitive issues
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office packages such as Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Experience managing a range of technical packages to manage local, national and international meetings and interactive sessions
  • A team player who can provide support to other members of the Executive team as required
