The Organisation

Airservices is a government owned organisation providing safe, secure, efficient and environmentally responsible services to the aviation industry.
Each year we manage over four million aircraft movements carrying more than 156 million passengers, and provide air navigation services across 11 per cent of the world’s airspace.

The Role

Lead the continual development and execution of the environmental monitoring program to ensure effective delivery against scope requirements through working with on-ground operations. You will play a key part in the identification of environmental risk and deliver continuous improvement through engineering solutions. You will provide assessment and analysis of monitoring information with a view to improve our organisational environmental sustainability performance.

You will be considered a Subject Matter Expert in wastewater management and treatment systems. You will manage the systems and monitoring data required to ensure that you can deliver accurate and timely environmental advice and effectively quantify environmental and sustainability (energy, waste) performance.

You will report to the Environmental Operations Team Lead and build effective working relationships with Facility and Property Managers.

Skills and Experience

The successful applicant will have:

• Bachelor degree or higher in Environmental Engineering (or similar), and 5 years’ industry experience within this technical discipline
• Extensive experience in designing and leading monitoring programs across an organisation to meet strategic objectives
• Extensive experience in data management and analysis from environment and sustainability monitoring
• Demonstrated experience in delivering environmental engineering projects to improve controls
• Demonstrated experience in project management and the ability to prioritise and deliver work on schedule, whilst working on multiple tasks with competing priorities

 

Security Clearance

• To be eligible to apply, you must be an Australian citizen as an Australian Government Baseline Security Clearance is required for this role.
