CS GAS is a specialist supplier of well optimisation, production process control (SCADA) systems and a provider of gas field services.  Our organisation has a multidiscipline engineering focus with operations that include fabrication (welding – pressure piping, vessels, structural), electrical, instrumentation and industrial control systems.

We are seeking a trade qualified Electrician for our electrical team .The position requires the manufacture and installation of gas well metering & optimisation equipment. Knowledge and experience with Hazardous Areas Installation is highly advantageous. The position also involves assisting in other manufacturing areas as required i.e.: Switchboard and/or mechanical assembly. The normal hours are based on a 38hr week, Monday to Friday at our Acacia Ridge facility.

Remuneration will be in accordance with skills and experience.

Essential

• Unrestricted Electrical Licence Qld
• Certificate IV in Hazardous Areas or relevant hazardous area qualification
• Australian Drivers Licence
• Previous electrical experience in industrial sector
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Ability to comply with the CS GAS and common industry “Fitness for Work” policies

Desirable

• Dual trade – Instrumentation
• Current high risk work – forklift
• Instrumentation experience (PLC, Modbus)
• Certificate IV in Hazardous Areas or relevant hazardous area qualification
• Experience working within an environment of Quality Management Systems and Safety Management Systems
• Computer Literacy
