About the Role:               

We are seeking a highly experienced, professional Delivery Driver to join our Family-owned company based at the Brisbane Markets Rocklea You will be responsible for picking orders and delivering to our clients.

The successful applicant will need to take a great deal of pride in their work, have the ability to lead and mentor others and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

The successful applicant  will be required to:

• Drive a small light truck to do Multi drops
• Coordinate run to specific delivery schedule
• Ensure goods are prepared for dispatch with appropriate wrapping and labelling
• Ensure stock to be delivered matches the invoice
• Ensure that agreed dispatch time-lines are met
• Provide superior customer service and sales to all customers
• Hand Loading & Hand Unloading stock
• Daily warehouse duties (Washing of vehicles, maintaining vehicles)
• Early morning starts (from 2am on Monday and Friday, from 3am on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday)
• Some Saturday work is required
• Ongoing work for the right person

To join our team, you MUST have:

• A current Forklift License (Desirable but not essential)
• Multi Drop Experience
• MANUAL Car License a MUST
• Reliability, An eye for detail, Accuracy
• Warehouse experience
• Good physical fitness and a neat appearance
• Excellent communication skills and good customer service ethics
• A strong focus on vehicle safety and sound manual handling practices
• Knowledge of HACCP controls (Desirable)
• Previous route sales experience an advantage but not required
• Knowledge of Fruit & Vegetables (Preferable)
