About the role

We’re on the lookout for a digital marketer with ecommerce and Facebook Ads experience to provide mentoring and coaching for small businesses that are doing their own marketing.

Seeking an experienced digital marketer, who has hands on experience building out Facebook Ad campaigns, setting up the tech required to track and optimise campaigns, link product catalogues, troubleshoot pixels issues, etc, so you can help our mentoring clients. 

Your core responsibilities:

  • Mentoring small business clients to help them improve their digital marketing strategy and implementation
  • Auditing the digital marketing practices of small businesses mentoring clients
  • Setting up Google Analytics, Google My Business, Facebook Pixel installation, Facebook Domain Verification, etc
  • Providing advice on Facebook Ad creative
  • Analysing Facebook Ad metrics and providing advice on optimising campaigns
  • Providing advice on optimising landing pages and online stores for increased conversions (Shopify, WordPress or WooCommerce)
  • Synching product catalogues with Facebook Ads
  • Providing other digital marketing advice (as per your expertise – Google Ads or experience with other advertising platforms or digital marketing strategies would be a bonus)
  • Record keeping and reporting for mentoring sessions

Additional responsibilities:

  • Contributing your expertise and knowledge to the Click Engage Convert Academy by posting answers to member questions and presenting up-to-date information in online masterclasses
  • Creating SOPs and templates
  • Assisting with the tasks related to the administration of our mentoring program

Skills and experience

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum 2 Years Facebook Ads Manager experience, delivering great results either in-house or in an agency
  • A passion for digital marketing, with a keen interest in providing digital marketing coaching/mentoring
  • Super techy, with the ability to self-learn new software, platforms and integrations on the fly, along with a thirst for education and up-to-date best practice information
  • Master of interpreting Facebook Ad metrics, Google Analytics and sales data
  • Experience setting up and troubleshooting Facebook Pixels, Facebook Shops, Facebook Catalogues, Conversion Events, Domain Verification, etc
  • Ability to spot problem areas in a campaign and troubleshoot
  • Ability to work under pressure and deal with client demands
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Exceptional time management, problem solving and prioritisation skills
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively

The role is flexible and can be either full time (38hrs) or 25hrs+ across 5 days for the right candidate who is keen to incorporate this role within their busy life.

This position can be a ‘work from home’ role or (when we are able to reopen) located in our Hoppers Crossing VIC office (Business Addicts Coworking – another business we own) or a mix of both – your choice. 

However, you will need to live within Victoria, as there will be some requirements to be in the office or other venues around Melbourne for the face-to-face events and other activities we run. Being a Victorian resident is also a requirement for one of the contracts we manage that you will be heavily involved in, so that requirement is definitely non-negotiable. 

You won’t be micromanaged. Instead you will be given autonomy and flexibility to manage and prioritise your workload to be able to consistently deliver exceptional results on time, within budget and to our usual high standards. You will have access to support and guidance when you need it. 

You will initially undergo a six month trial to ensure we’re a good fit to work together in the long run.

Impactiv8 is a digital marketing agency that helps small businesses get the best possible return on their Facebook Ads by optimising their digital marketing funnel so that they don’t waste their money and can increase the profitability of their business.

We’re a preferred Facebook Marketing Partner Agency, working with ecommerce brands, service based businesses and online course creators.

We are continually researching, testing and learning the best social media and online marketing strategies, tips and tools and sharing that information with our clients, Academy members, subscribers and social media followers. 

We have our fingers in lots of pies. We manage Australia’s premiere digital marketing conference for small businesses (Click Engage Convert), have a digital marketing membership (Click Engage Convert Academy), host a successful podcast (Business Addicts The Podcast), and work from within Business Addicts Coworking (Hoppers Crossing, VIC), a space we also manage. 

We also have a contract to deliver free digital marketing mentoring for small businesses that have been impacted by COVID. This project is currently funded through to the end of 2021, but is most likely to be extended into 2022.

We currently have a small but dynamic high performing team of strategists, paid traffic specialists, content creators and digital marketers and are looking to grow our team to meet the needs of our expanding client base.
