An opportunity exists to contribute to the operations of the Customer Services unit within SA Ambulance Service as part of a casual pool within Billing and Collections and the Customer Service Centre in the positions of Revenue Officer and Customer Service Representative.

The Revenue Clerk is responsible for generating and processing ambulance invoices ensuring all reasonable action is taken to recover outstanding revenues and other amounts which are receivable as a result of providing an ambulance service. The Revenue Clerk provides an organisational wide service by generating and processing revenue, whilst ensuring best practice customer service.

 The Customer Service Representative is responsible for answering inbound calls and making outbound calls relating to customer enquiries/complaints, sales, service & processing of confidential client records and payments relating to all SA Ambulance Service (SAAS) transports and products. The incumbent will be responsible for providing a range of administrative tasks to support customers and staff ensuring the efficient and effective operation of Call Direct, and associated data bases, enabling a high standard of customer service and contributing to required sales targets. The incumbent is required to proactively undertake sales of the Ambulance products being Call Direct and Ambulance Cover and participate in all sales based incentive programs and training to the satisfaction of the Customer Service Centre Manager and Team Leader.
