Operations Officer- Bin Hire Department

WM Waste Management Services, a leading waste management company in Melbourne and the Yarra Valley, is seeking an operations officer for its Bin Hire department located in Boronia.

WM Waste and its sister companies Knox Transfer Station and Yarra Valley Waste are growing businesses in the eastern suburbs and the Yarra Valley and we are pleased to offer this role which has the potential for personal growth in the future.

Details of the positions include:

• A full-time position with an immediate start
• Monday – Friday
• Occasional overtime on Saturday
• Will be required to answer phone calls and take booking from customers
• Liaise with drivers and subcontractors on a daily basis
• Assist with the allocation of bins to trucks
• Assist the Bin Hire Manager
• Data entry, invoicing and reports
• Filing and archiving of documents

What we are looking for:

• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office
• Experience in a Customer service capacity preferably in the field of logistics
• Ability for paperwork to be completed in a timely and efficient manner
• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, management & customers
• Able to work unsupervised & in a small team environment
• Punctual and reliable
