Due to the re opening of hospitality were excited to be able to expand on our existing dedicted kitchen team. We require Commis Chef/Chef De Parties to join our kitchen team. The positions available are full time and casual hours suited to Chefs with proven experience in high paced, high volume and professional kitchens. We employ people who are intuitive, resourceful, and reliable; who share a passion for vibrant Asian-inspired cuisine and love the idea of creating a memorable experience for our diners.

 

Job tasks and responsibilities

  • Strong understanding of produce, culinary techniques and kitchen equipment
  • Ensuring food standards, preparation, presentation, cleanliness and cooking techniques are carried out according to established recipes and procedures
  • An unwavering focus on health and safety
  • Consistently presenting quality food at every occasion
  • Excellence over mediocrity
  • Creativity and an eye for detail

 

Skills and experience

To work with us you will come armed with

  • Previous experience as a commis chef/Chef De Partie
  • Experience with South East Asian cuisine
  • Hold the relevant tertiary qualifications
  • A personality that thrives in a frenetic and buzzing atmosphere where the music is loud and services quick
