An exciting opportunity to join AGL as a Commercial Sponsorship Specialist dealing with several AFL and A League clubs. This role works closely with the Commercial Sponsorship Manager to manage and leverage national sponsorship partnerships to create value and equity in the AGL brand, aiding consideration and ultimately positive commercial outcomes.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Work closely with AGL sponsorship partners and develop leverage plans for sponsorships underpinned by market and customer insights, ensuring all contractual obligations are met
  • Develop and implementation of cost-effective leverage activities, including promotions, branded content and activations for sponsorship properties ensuring alignment with brand strategies, leading to consideration and conversion
  • Work closely with the Commercial and Industrial teams to leverage sponsorship assets to drive B2B introductions including networking events, hospitality and bespoke business led activity
  • Work closely with Marketing and product teams to drive B2C acquisition and retention opportunities accessing sponsorships databases.
  • Manage internal and external agency relationships for the development of sponsorship activities and collateral as required
  • Liaise with Internal Stakeholders to drive communications and awareness both internal and external to leverage partnership associations and drive employee engagement

About You

You will be a self-driven individual, with strong planning and conceptual skills. You will have the ability to manage and communicate with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing or related business discipline
  • Ability to work across multiple partnerships and effectively be able to prioritise work to tight deadlines
  • Effective interpersonal skills, stakeholder management and engagement
  • Ability to manage agency and external supplier relationships and produce effective and timely materials
  • High quality written and verbal communication skills
  • A strong understanding of the marketing function with an emphasis on retail communications across a range of mediums and channels
