Calvary Riverina is seeking an enthusiastic and highly skilled registered nurse to provide specialist clinical support to staff in the capacity of a Clinical Nurse Specialist – Orthopaedics. This is a permanent, full time position that offers an excellent opportunity for career advancement. This is an exciting and unique opportunity to join our perioperative team at Calvary Riverina.
The successful applicant will need to work within the team aiming to create and entrench a culture of clinical excellence and best practice standards, reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager. Our team offers a supportive and dynamic work environment which supports cross-skilling and flexible work options with five operating theatres. About the role:
We are seeking an experienced registered nurse who can provide specialist clinical leadership across the following specialities:
- Orthopaedic surgery
- General/Endoscopy surgery
- Urology surgery
- Oral-dental surgery
- Gynaecology surgery
- Paediatric surgery
What you bring:
- Current AHPRA Nursing Registration
- Minimum five (5) years post graduate experience in perioperative services
- Demonstrated understanding of contemporary peri operative nursing practice
- High level collaboration skills, including the demonstrated ability to engage and influence key stakeholders
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated understanding of relevant ACORN and clinical practice standards
