The Kooringal Hotel are extremely passionate about delivering quality food combined with premium service. Our hotel has a commercial kitchen that services a large bistro, beer garden and function rooms. We host a range of events including social gatherings, business events & birthday parties. 

About the role

We are currently seeking enthusiastic reliable qualified chefs/cooks to join our team at the Kooringal Hotel, Wagga. We’re looking for organised people with previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This opportunity will suit hardworking and dependable individuals that would like the chance to become a pivotal member of our team.

The role requires you to work across a 7-day rotating roster including nights and weekends. 

 

Skills and experience

* Trade cooking qualifications 

* Proven ability in a similar venue/restaurant

* Ability to work collaboratively within a team

* Punctual, reliable and friendly demeanor

* Strong passion for quality and attention to detail

* Ability to comply with all health and safety regulations

* Extensive knowledge and best practice of food handling requirements
