CASUAL STONE DUST OPERATOR

We are seeking a positive & enthusiastic individual to join our team located in Thornton to primarily operate our  Stone Dust plant, fulfilling customer orders in a timely manner. You will also be required to assist with other general workshop & stores related duties. Your commitment to safety will be paramount.

The Role

  • Bagging of stone dust to customer orders / requirements 
  • Monitor incoming orders and liaise with sales to ensure turnaround times are met. 
  • Ensure stone dust machine and area is maintained / cleaned regularly 
  • Preparation of stone dust for customer dispatch 
  • Maintain production levels and requirements  
  • Team Participation
  • Reporting
  • Quality and OH&S procedures adhered to

Skills & Experience

It is essential that you must possess the following to be considered for this position:

  • Proven track record in warehouse operations. 
  • NSW Drivers license 
  • Ability to efficiently network and coordinate works with customers (internal & external), transporters, and suppliers. 
  • Ability to manage effectively time to meet targets and deadlines. 
  • Ability to work within a team environment 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately and thoroughly 
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced, high-volume environment 

The following skills/qualifications would be highly regarded:

  • HR drivers license  
  • Experience in the Stone Dust area 
  • Senior first aid 
  • Forklift license  
  • You must also possess;

In return, Becker Mining Australia will offer excellent remuneration and the diversity of working in an international group, a 5-day working week, with a 38 hour base week and overtime and afternoon shifts available
