Casual German Language Assistant

Luther College seeks the services of an experienced German Language Assistant to provide oral and conversational language support to small groups of senior students, commencing in Term 1, 2022. You can expect to work approximately 6 hours per week conditional to the teaching and learning requirements. The position would suit a native speaker with a background in education (teaching qualification not essential).

This is a casual position with a classification of School Officer Grade B, Curriculum Stream as per the Lutheran Education (Victorian Schools) Multi Enterprise Agreement 2018.

Applicants must already hold an Employee Working with Children Check clearance and be able to transfer this to Luther College.

You will be required to upload the following documentation as a part of the application process: 

  • Covering letter, introducing yourself;
  • Curriculum Vitae, including your qualifications and experience;
  • The names and contact details of three professional referees;
  • Evidence of a current Working with Children Check (WWCC);
  • Evidence of a current, satisfactory national police check (within 12 months of issue); and
  • Evidence of your right to work in Australia (copy of your passport or birth certificate).
