Candidate Manager – Graduate/ University Student

Candidate Managers to join a fast paced team and support a team of Senior Consultants recruiting within the NSW Government Portfolio

This is an excellent opportunity for a current Graduate or someone in their last year of University to kick start their career and develop within a high performing global business.

You will join a dedicated team providing candidates to NSW Government Clients. This team works on high volume of roles at anyone time and you will be constantly kept busy with sourcing and identifying candidates suitable for our clients.

As a Candidate Manager you will be expected to:

  • Support the Manager and a team of Senior Consultants with coordinating recruitment activities
  • Identify, call and screen candidates on a daily basis for specific client mandates
  • Select and match candidates for appropriate positions, arranging interviews and fully briefing candidates on the company and role
  • Conduct reference checks for the consultants on the team
  • Develop relationships with relevant candidates and keep in regular contact to build positive, productive and long-term corporate relationships
  • Achieve targets and meet individual and team KPI’s in a fast moving and competitive environment
  • Generate Leads to be passed and shared within the team
  • Provide contractor care to our placed contractors
  • Provide administration activities to support the team
  • Provide a consultative service and advise on market trends and conditions


  • Ideally some experience in over the phone sales or customer service in a corporate environment
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple tasks with urgency
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Persistence, resilience, drive and determination to succeed
