We are looking for a Business Services & Tax Accountant to join our team who has the right mix of experience, talent and drive. In this position you will be responsible for a range of clients which will include individuals, partnerships, trusts, companies and super funds. With such a diverse client base you will have exposure to working with a variety of different industries.

About You

The person we are looking for will have 3 to 10 3 years’ experience in a public practice, either finished or working towards completing their CA or CPA. You will have experience in a broad range of tax, accounting and business matters with strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail and motivated by helping your team mates succeed.

You have great written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain strategic financial solutions with a passion for providing quality service to clients and demonstrating an inquisitive nature to deliver solutions and provide a holistic service.

The successful candidate will have experience in:

• Working with a client portfolio
• Processing & analysis of client information to prepare Financial Statements
• Processing of data to prepare a range of income tax returns
• Preparation of Month end and Year end reporting
• Tax Compliance including BAS, FBT and Company Tax Reconciliation of General Ledger Accounts for clients such as bank, wages & GST
• General research of tax issues
• Accurate data entry and maintenance of the client database to improve data integrity
