We are looking for a BDM that is resilient and tenacious, someone who can handle multiple competing priorities while keeping high standards of customer service and stakeholder engagement. We are looking for a sales person with a strong hunter mentality that is not afraid to pick up the phone and to seek out new business opportunities. You’ll need to have a high level of passion, motivation and professionalism. Ideally to be successful in this role you will have pre-established relationships and a strong network with business owners in your area of expertise.
To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate:
- Minimum two (2) years’ sales experience (B2B) with local market sales within the Telecommunications industry.
- Strong understanding of data networking or hardware
- Sales Contacts within Melbourne
- Previous experience in acquiring and closing new business opportunities is essential.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships, both internally and externally with customers
- Proven ability in closing strategies
- Strategic thinker who is outcome and results focused
- Passion and enthusiasm for the sales process
- Approachable, friendly with a can do attitude

In this dynamic and rewarding role, you will have the ability to:
- Drive new business acquisition
- Analyse customers current and future requirements by analysing current spend
- Build and maintain a solid sales pipeline to sustain monthly targets
- Cold Call new Prospects and set appointments
- Conduct client visits on leads or referrals identified by yourself, a tele-appointing team or the broader business.
- Develop and present business proposals to customers.
