Assistant Venue Manager / Operations Manager

Salt House is a modern, large restaurant and cocktail bar designed specifically for the tropical climate we enjoy. Our venue contains a 180 pax restaurant featuring a wood fired Argentinian grill, a private dining room for up to 20 guests, Trinity viewing deck perfect for weddings, 30 pax Pizzeria stand-alone restaurant at the front, two large cocktail bars featuring daybeds and plenty of open seating areas. The grassed bar function area is currently being renovated and will have a 3rd stand-alone kitchen. This allows us to accommodate for several kinds of events and functions like our 3000+ pax annual food and wine festival. We cater to a broad and varied demographic taking great pride in holding a solid reputation for friendly professional service. We are independently owned and run which enables us freedoms to stock a broad range of national and international spirits, wines and produce. We are a passionate supporter of live music and entertainment with a weekly programme of musicians and DJs. 

 The person we seek would need to have;

  • strong professional leadership skills
  • be hospitality driven with an eye for detail
  • back of house point of sale knowledge
  • have a minimum of 2 years management experience in similar role; restaurant service and cocktail knowledge a massive plus
  • RMLV and Approved manager’s license
  • ability to work together with our GM and management team.
