About the business and the role


Cold Storage & Transport company based in the Northern suburbs, is currently seeking dedicated customer service staff with Warehousing or Transport experience to join their small but efficient team. 


Job tasks and responsibilities


Key Responsibilities:

  • Stock control & Customer Stock reporting
  • Key in Customers orders/incoming stock
  • TMS & WMS Sytems
  • Assist customers with queries
  • Liaise with Transport Carriers for ETA of deliveries
  • Some complaint handling
  • Investigate delivery issues
  • Respond to and resolve email queries
  • Liaise with internal departments such as the Warehouse and Transport team
  • Daily reporting
  • Data entry and general administrative tasks
  • Debreif drivers upon completion of their daily runs
  • Organise customers’ POD’s for our accounts department
  • Pallet management
  • ADHOC work as required by direct manager

To be successful you must possess the following:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fantastic customer service skills and strong customer focus
  • The ability to work well in small but fast paced team environment
  • Proficiency in MS office suites
  • Strong conflict resolution skills and ability to be proactive
  • High attention to detail
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Previous experience within similar role highly regarded
  • Ability to multi task
  • Be able to work independantly
  • Be open to working public holidays and/or weekends on a rotating roster if needed
  • Open to overtime where required
  • Flexible with start and finish time changes if required
