This well-known company is ASX listed and offers integrated Transport, Logistics & Rural Supply services. With more than 50 years’ experience, they proudly operate an extensive national logistics network across various locations covering regional communities.
Today they employ over 1000 exceptional individuals, with roughly 35% based in Regional Australia, and together they service more than 1 million tonnes of freight every year across the country. As such they are seeking a Credit Officer to commence with them as soon as possible.

The Role
As the Administrator you will be a highly motivated individual with excellent IT skills and at least 2 years proven experience within an office environment. You are Microsoft Office Suite savvy with a knowledge of basic accounts processes, such as invoicing, and directly supporting a team/manager or director of a business.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assemble and coordinate daily plans for the fuels dispatch of orders received from the customer service centre in accordance to fleet optimization procedures by allocating resources for dispatch of fuels products by either proprietary or contractor fleet operations.
  • Coordinate any fuels delivery related troubleshooting that may arise with proprietary fleet, contractors and customer services support and back-office systems to ensure Safety and reliability of the fleet operations.
  • Compile and classify all documents required for dispatch issuing a daily fuels dispatch report and maintains filing system for back-office support of all delivery transactions processed including maintenance of customer delivery reliability metric database.
  • Provide administrative and analytical support as required to support and optimize the business such as cost analysis, inventory reconciliation, customs, and other regulatory paperwork/interface/reporting.
    • Execute daily reconciliation of bulk fuel and customer invoicing processing delivered from terminals to customers, third party or proprietary facilities according to the dispatch or product transfer schedule.
    • Process all daily invoicing, debit, and credit notes charges to statement of accounts as well as special adjustments including pricing variation control according to each location, product, and special conditions in compliance with internal controls and accounting requirements.
    • Assist in investigation and reconciliation of fuel recs at required locations.
  • Compile, classify, register, control, coordinate and reconcile the paperwork according to approved accounting and compliance requirements, ensuring that Accounts Receivable & Payable systems data are updated, and all vendor information included.
  • Following up on various site stationary
  • Assisting with the development and management of the Co-operative budget
  • Creating Purchase orders and invoices
  • Providing post-promotion reports, analysis, and regular status reports on promotional programs

Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, the ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate the following attributes

  • Minimum two years administration experience
  • Familiarity with SAP / ERP systems
  • Administrative / Logistics background (preferred)
  • High level of time management and strong problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and data entry skills
  • Proven ability to cope with unexpected changes and produce counteractive measures
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office suite especially Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload
