Administration/Accounts Support

Brismark is a Member organisation for the fruit and vegetable primary wholesalers operating in the Brisbane Produce Market.  It provides services to its Members and other industry participants. The Brisbane Produce Market is an essential service and Queensland’s major marketing and distribution hub for the supply of fresh fruit and vegetables. 

Brismark is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide administration support, accounts payable/receivable support to the business and Reception coverage as required.  You will be required to work from 7.00am to 3.30pm, however this may change on occasions due to operational requirements.

This is a diverse role, rarely are two days the same, there are a variety of tasks that requires a variety of skills.  You will be responsible for:

  • Providing administration and accounts support to the business and internal stakeholders
  • Creating documents and forms and document management
  • Creating and distributing communications through bulk email system
  • Accounts payable/receivable duties ie invoicing, data entry and preparation of payment runs

The nature of the role is varied and requires a person who is well organised with the ability to work to deadlines, multi-task and manage multiple demands.  The successful candidate will need previous administrative support, accounts payable/receivable and reception experience. You also need a customer service focus, fabulous phone manner and a friendly disposition.
